LINCOLN'S COUSINS AND NEIGHBORS TO SPEAK AT ATHS BOOK FAIR

Were your great grandparents cousins or neighbors of Abraham Lincoln? Perhaps you are simply interested in the relatives and neighbors of Lincoln who lived in the Ancestral Trails Area. If either is true, you should note that our April 12, 2008 BOOK FAIR will have several speakers throughout the day who may surprise you with stories of Abe's extended family and neighborly connections. Speakers will give presentations on genealogical and historical information regarding Abe and his neighbors. Names such as Berry, Brumfield, Shipley, Hoskinson, Crume, Cowley, Nall, Hibbs, Wooldridge, Sparrow, Neighbors, Stillwell, and Hanks will be dropped. Amongst Lincoln neighbors were Redman, Gollaher, Walters, Friend, Enlow, Boone, LaRue, Lee, and many others. A surprise speaker or two may be present to elaborate on Lincoln's family and neighbors. You are invited to attend the presentations and bring your own information to share with other participants. If you have Lincoln relatives in your background you are encouraged to bring your family charts.
