- 6000 square feet of books and other quality history/genealogy items
presented for sale by numerous historical and/or genealogical societies,
as well as individual authors.
- 9:00 to 3:30 Lincoln Workshop. There will be a registration fee of

"Eugene Bodene," Kentucky's Ambassador of Family
Humor and Motivation. Eugene has performed all across the Good Ole' USA
with his guitar and songs such as "The Day I Gave That Cat A Bath",
"Puttin' On The Dog", and "I'm My Own Grandpa". |

Rineyville, KY clogging & guitar champions Melanie and Maci
Belfiore, sisters age 16 and 11, will perform. Both have earned top
honors at the Cumberland River Bluegrass Festival. |
- Living history reenactors greeting and speaking with patrons
- Those with connections to the land that is now occupied by Fort Knox
will want to examine a special display at the fair. A large collection
of photographs, maps and other records associated with the people,
towns, schools, churches, and businesses that once occupied the land
that is now Fort Knox will be displayed. Photographs and maps of the
long-gone towns and townspeople of Stithton, Grahampton, Garnettsvillle,
Pitts Point, Easy Gap, Dorretts Run, New Stithton, Tip Top, Plain
Dealing, Mill Creek, Steeles Crossroads, Pleasant View (Wigginton), and
Bloomington will be displayed. Over 2500 photographs will be on display,
to include photographs of 120 Fort Knox cemeteries. Those with
connections to the land that is now Fort Knox will not want to miss this
display and information.
- If you have interest in Kentucky history and/or genealogy this is a
"don't miss" opportunity. All are welcome to come and peruse the books
and art work as well as genealogy services, helpers and tools on
display. Engage with the many folks in attendance who come seeking
information and fellowship with those who share their interest in
people, places and events of the past.
