The town of Garnettsville, along with other towns, was consumed by the expansion of Fort Knox in 1942. Nothing remains of the town but the Garnettsville Cemetery. The history of the town is told through photographs, interview with former residents, newspaper articles and other documents. Listing of all those buried in the cemetery through 1974 are included – genealogical citations accompany many of the cemetery listings.
