Membership: Annual dues are presently $15/family, payable anytime during the year. Members will receive four issues of Ancestral News, free queries, and discounts on other ATHS publications.
Meetings are generally held at 7 PM, the first Friday of the month at the Hardin County Public Library, 100 Jim Owen Dr., Elizabethtown, Kentucky. Meetings may be held at other locations, depending on presenter. Please check the website for the lastest information.
Members are urged to submit 5-generation pedigree charts, family sheets or ahnentafels that will be then filed under their membership number in the ATHS Research Library.
The research library is located at 201 W. Dixie Ave., Elizabethtown, Kentucky in the Hardin County History Museum with parking behind the museum and next door alongside the State Theatre. Telephone number at the library is 270-982-0881.
Submissions from the Membership: Material should be of general interest touching somehow on the counties that the Society represents and can be any genealogical or historical information that helps to fulfill the goals outlined above. This material may include abstracts of county court records, school and church records, Bible records, family histories, individual biographies of ancestors, cemetery listings, old letters or diaries, etc. Please make copies, because no materials will be returned and will become part of the library collection at the Hardin County Museum.
