Purchasing Books using US Postal Service

You may make purchases from the ATHS Bookstore by printing the Bookstore Order Form and mailing it along with your payment (check or money order) to:

Be sure to include your ATHS Member number when placing orders to the book store.

Please complete each of the following steps to order one or more books from the Ancestral Trails Historical Society Bookstore.

  1. Display and print the ATHS Bookstore Order form. This form is available at ATHS Bookstore Order Form. Be sure to use the Printer icon from the toolbar of the Acrobat Reader window.
  2. Indicate the quantity, unit price and total amount in the appropriate spaces next to each book that you wish to order.
  3. Sum the total of all books orders and write this figure in the Subtotal space at the bottom of the book list.
  4. Calculate the Shipping and Handling amount by multiplying the figure in the Subtotal space by 0.10. Write this amount in the Shipping and Handling space, if this amount is greater than 4.00. Otherwise, write 4.00 in the Shipping and Handling space.
  5. If you are a resident of Kentucky, multiply the amount in the Subtotal space by 0.06. Write this amount in the KY Sales Tax space. If you are not a resident of Kentucky, write 0.0 in this space.
  6. If you wish to become a member of Ancestral Trails Historical Society OR you wish to renew your membership, write 12.00 in the Dues space. Otherwise, write 0.0 in this space.
  7. Calculate the total of the Subtotal, Shipping and Handling, KY Sales Tax and Dues spaces and write the total in the Total Amount Enclosed space.
  8. Complete all spaces on the last page of the form including Check Number, Date, Membership Number, Full Name, Address, Phone Number and Email Address.
  9. Keep a copy for your records.
  10. Make a check out to ATHS in the correct amount noted on the order form.
  11. Mail the order form and check to:

Your order will be processed upon receipt of the order form and check.

It is recommended you indicate your membership number (if applicable) on your check. The check must be made out to ATHS (Ancestral Trails Historical Society). ATHS Members will have a blank order form and complete book list in each copy of Ancestral News Quarterly. Shipments are subject to stock availability at the publishing house. Please allow a minimum of four - six weeks for deliveries before contacting ATHS.
